It’s a little too quiet on Glorilla’s side.. Social media is trying to figure out what’s going on after a Kennesaw State University student claimed she has never heard back from GloRilla’s team about a tuition donation. Glorilla was caught off guard when a fan who attends Kennesaw State University asked her for help with her tuition fee. Glo asked the young female a few questions before considering, like what school did she attended and giving her a good reason why she should even donate! The fan stated her reasons, such as she has goals and aspirations. The rap star promised her $5,000, after hearing the young female state her reasons. “I like your hustle” stated the rap star, but the money has yet to hit the student’s account!
Vivica Whitehead, a Student at Kennesaw State University, posted a clip yesterday of the April 15th exchange that immediately went viral.
The video received over 600,000 views and received numerous reactions. Social media users had their comments and opinions stating they doubted Glorilla would pay her fees or that the young female was very bold for such a big ask!
It’s been said Vivica Whitehead, the student afterward, responded on social media from someone who wanted an update on GloRilla’s offer to donate $5,000. Vivica Whitehead explained that she contacted Glo’s team the next week after the exchange but had never heard back from the rapper’s team.
“I didn’t hear from them for about a week so I texted, no text back.”
GloRilla’s Team Allegedly Working To Verify Student’s Details
It’s Been Reported There Was A Source With More Details
“GloRilla’s team has been working to verify Ms. Whitehead’s school account in order to apply payment.” The source adds, “GloRilla has a heart of gold but never skips steps.”
Quite a few of social media users aligned themselves with the Memphis rapper, saying that she student didn’t deserve anything and shouldn’t feel so entitled.
However,It’s becoming quite common that Glo doesn’t allegedly keep her word. Back in December 2022, a choreographer named Trinica Goods alleged that Memphis rapper never paid for a five-hour dance lesson.
The choreographer Trinica stated she worked with Glo at an Atlanta-based dance studio back in August. Glorilla allegedly agreed to pay $1,500 for the dance lesson. After the choreographer attempted to take the owed payment, Glo’s team allegedly assured Trinica that she would be paid soon. However, she was allegedly never compensated.
