Talk about some eye candy! Akbar V (IG Handle) is NOT shy when it comes to who she likes and when she likes what she sees! Early Saturday (May 18), Atlanta rap artist and Love & Hip Hop reality actress Akbar V shared her tweets on X (formerly Twitter) to ask about Dr Dre’s (IG Handle) relationship status!
The up-and-coming rapper expressed her interest by tagging him in her post!
“Is @drdre dating somebody…? That’s one fine a** old man,” Akbar tweeted.
Following the social media events, she responded to a follower who suggested she “leave [their] man alone.” “Sister, he so fine,” Akbar V responded. Then she suggested they could be “sister wives” in another response.

Some social media users agreed that Dr. Dre can pass for eye candy, whereas several others brought up past abuse allegations against him and just simply couldn’t get past it to see what Akbar V sees in him.
Now, it’s no secret that Akbar V has no shame in her game when it comes to making a move on the fellas! In the past, she’s shot her shot at some well-known singers/rappers such as Drizzy Drake and Chris Breezy Brown. In a funny Instagram video, Akbar copies a scene from Alicia Keys‘ “You Don’t Know My Name” music video. The Atlanta rapper confesses that after seeing a photo of him working out at the gym, she had to make it her duty to slide in his DMs.
“I’m gonna go ahead and call him, I think I’m gonna call him,” she jokes before dialing a number. “Hello? Can I speak to Drake,”
Mimicking Alicia in the unforgettable original music video.
“Hey Drake, this is Akbar V, I know you don’t know me or anything but I just be watching you all over the blogs and I see you with the joggers on and I seen that print hanging out of it and it’s real big I was just telling my girlfriends that,’
She then started wildly laughing.
In 2015, Dr. Dre released a public apology to the “women he’s hurt” subsequent to facing long-standing allegations of domestic abuse. During an interview with the New York Times, the music mogul acknowledged being a “young man drinking too much” and lacking a structured life, indicating that these circumstances did not justify his actions. Nonetheless, allegations of abuse against him have persisted since the apology.
Social media users tried to warn the Atlanta rapper of her abusive eye candy, while others seemed to be annoyed and still raging over the P. Diddy & Cassie physical abuse case. There were a few comments on how Dr. Dre would strike her as P. Diddy did Cassie, and how it was “bad timing” to showcase her interest in the alleged abuser at such a time.
On another occasion on her platform, Akbar V expressed her desire for recognition for her music career.
I really want my names to be in conversations of Rap artist whether it’s male or female so i have a lot of work to do …. this rap shit i do … i just need the right team She took to Twitter.
The Atlanta rapper landed a significant break in her rap career when Nicki Minaj featured her on the ‘Super Freaky Girl Queen Mix’ in 2022. Akbar recently teamed up with the Barb rapper to perform the hit song during one of Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday 2’ tour stops.
She promised that she’s going to revamp her image, stay out of drama, and stay focused on her rap career.
I know yall hear me say this a lot but I’m really bout to rebrand myself i got to much talent to not be in theses rap conversations i dont want no drama nomore im staying out the way and focused on my craft i know yall hear me say this all the time but im really bout to buckle…
