It seems that being wealthy and well-known makes purchasing a car harder, at least not if you’re J. Cole looking to buy a Tesla.
User @Pearliquee revealed in a TikTok video that she unexpectedly ran into Dreamville founder Cole at a New York Tesla dealership, where Cole was reportedly receiving little attention from the employees. The video was posted on Monday, June 3.
“J Cole & I shopping for teslas at the same time while the manager kept ignoring him bc he didn’t know who he was & continued persuading me to place the order for the car,” she added.
Cole is seen in the one-minute TikTok examining the Tesla Cybertruck, a vehicle that is purportedly priced as high as $80,000. It appears that Cole was approached by two Tesla employees, even though the TikToker stated otherwise in their caption.
Additionally, @Pearliquee spoke with Cole, noting that the
“7 Minute Drill” artist “was amused that my moms born in germany like him 🫠.”
She continued, “i used to sing but not anymore so i didnt even bother mentioning my music industry side of me but he was nice and tall!”
Cole has been spotted on impromptu outings before, so this wouldn’t be the first time recently. Soon after he ended his feud with Kendrick Lamar last month, he was pictured at the beach with another TikToker.
