An enraged husband in Florida beat up a man with an aluminum bat after discovering him in his wife’s bed, according to a CBS 2 report.
After breaking into the victim’s AirBnB and catching him in the act with his terrified wife, John Dimmig, 33, of Lake Worth, is reportedly charged with attempted murder, according to the station.
Blood was all over the living room when deputies responded to a 911 call at the Lake Worth Beach residence.
When the red path reached the apartment’s bedroom, the bloodied victim was lying on his back and holding a towel over his head.
An arrest record states that he identified himself as a CT technician from Arizona who was in Florida on business.
He mentioned that Dimmig’s spouse was a colleague, and that following work, the two of them had gone out for drinks before returning to his AirBnB.
He heard the front door open while he was in bed with her, and then he saw Dimmig running toward him with a bat in hand.
The complaint claims that the enraged spouse struck him three times with the metal club while holding him down.
He told the responding police, “I felt like he was out to kill me.”
Dimmig denied the attack, but he was taken into custody nonetheless. He is anticipated in court on July 17. [Source: @nypost]
