Hypocritical? After Joe Budden gave his take on experiences he had in a relationship that turned violent, the internet went wild. Several topics were touched on in a recent podcast appearance by Joey on Bagfuel. His take on domestic violence from a male perspective was the one sparking the most controversy.
Joe Budden On Domestic Violence In A Relationship
Some of Joe’s own experiences in the past highlight the fact that women can be abusive in relationships. Men don’t know they are being abused, he implies. He described some instances with ex-girlfriends, saying: “I had an incident one time where I took the phone back that I bought and was actively paying the bill for.” Charges may apply. Charges brought to light. That was a lesson because I didn’t know that I was stealing, so that was a lesson. Continuing:
“I was in a domestic violence relationship, but we’re men so we don’t know that.”

In the clips, Joe doesn’t reveal who he’s talking about. He was called out in the video by his ex, Tahiry Jose, a month ago. When Joe weighed in on the viral video showing Diddy assaulting his then-girlfriend, Tahiry wasn’t having it.
