Angela, who is from New York City, used her Southern accent on ‘The Breakfast Club‘ this week! But where or should we say who did she pick up this accent from?
Angela Simmons Opens Up About Her Newfound Accent
The popular video starts with Simmons saying, “That’s me, I’m grown, this what I do.” After she finished speaking, Charlamagne Tha God asked about her time in the South. He said that she had a Southern accent, and DJ Envy agreed that there had been a change.
Envy asked her to say “music” with Angela Simmons’ new accent. That request made both the hosts and the entrepreneur laugh.
“It’s probably my man, it’s probably the influence of my man,” Simmons said with a smile.
If you didn’t know, Yo Gotti and Simmons have been in a romantic relationship for almost two years. The Memphis rapper took a public shot in 2015 and eventually got Angela. The pair, who had been spotted together several times, revealed their relationship with an opulent photo shoot in December 2022.
In other segments of the 25-minute interview, words like “together” are audible in Angela’s new accent.
Angela has been the talk of the comment sections for the past few weeks. Her apology after her gun-shaped purse on the BET Awards carpet went viral. She was most recently on social media at 12 and sitting in a bathtub full of Oreos!
