Creator Of Hello Kitty Said The Character Was Inspired By Cats.
Jill Cook caused a stir on social media with her words. Most people think that Hello Kitty looks like a cat because of her whiskers, triangle ears, and white coat.
Yuko Shimizu, the character’s designer, previously said her design was a white cat with a red bow in its hair. She got a “small white kitten” for her birthday as a child and got inspiration from that memory.
Recently, Saniro said that Hello Kitty is not a cat. Yuko left Saniro two years ago after designing a product that many kids love around the world.
