During a recent podcast interview with Keke Palmer, “Baby, This Is Keke,“ Tyler Perry discussed his opinions regarding snobby reviewers of his movies. The director declared that he doesn’t give a damn about what “highbrow negroes” think.

The 54-year-old said in the interview that he doesn’t let the cries of his detractors get to him. Tyler asserted that no amount of criticism will deter him from pursuing his divine mission.
Additionally, the writer of the film told Palmer, “If you let somebody talk you out of a place that God has put you in, you are going to find yourself in hell.” The actress appeared to concur, as she slowly exhaled with a “Ouu” and closed her eyes.
The director of “Those Who Wish Me Dead” claimed that he takes comfort from the encouraging words that come from his fans. Perry spoke, “For everyone who is a critic, there are thousands of…emails from people saying” they felt seen by his work. “Oh my God, how do you know me? How do you know this about my family,” he stated would write.
Many of his fans, according to Oprah’s very close friend, cannot afford therapy, but they can afford to see one of his films, which appears to help them deal with their traumas.

Following, the ‘Divorce In The Black’ writer and director stated that people “whose mothers were caregivers for White kids and were maids and housekeepers…beauticians” deserve to have their families’ narratives told.
Perry stated, “Don’t discount these people and say that their story don’t matter. Who are you to say which Black story is important or should be told.” At the end of his speech, the film director got a little heated, stating “Get out of here with that b******.” Keke was shocked at Perry’s fearlessness!
