Comedian Desi Banks has successfully amassed a substantial following. In addition, he is well-known for his online skits and for being extremely well-known on the internet. His inclusion on Complex’s most recent “Funniest Person Online” list resulted from this. Still, Banks only managed to secure a spot in the Top 10, coming in at number 8. The top-ranked person on the list was Druski. Other creators who ultimately received the approval were Kai Cenat, Lou Ratchet, and Trarags.
Banks appeared somewhat offended by his ranking on social media after being included in the list. He wrote,
“Guess my black ass ain’t shit.” “Dizamn, I appreciate you giving my black ass motivation with stuff like this.”
After his response went viral on the internet, Banks finally gave an explanation to The Shade Room.
“I’m playing but I’m not because I care that much about comedy, but it’s all good. I’ll keep doing my thing and elevating in the real world doing real sh*t, also doing the social media. But it’s my motivation.”
he remarked.
Desi Banks Clears Things Up
He discussed the list and how few women were included.
It could have most definitely been more, I know a few women. The women that’s on there, I can’t speak on people I don’t know. If we talking about social media, I’m talking consistency of comedy for years, folks they had on that list have’t even been around like that.”
Seems like everything is now okay! Desi Banks seemed to be a bit frustrated at Complex’s list drop of top 20 funniest people on the internet. Recently social media users inserted their own opinions after the shared photo’s. He reacted to ranking number 8 He is driven to keep working hard because he is currently on tour. Regarding his remark, Desi clarifies that he was joking, but he takes humor extremely seriously.
