Brandon Bill’s Lawsuit Update Against DaBaby
DaBaby’s response comes just days after In Touch Weekly published court papers revealing Brandon’s $4 million demand.
Shortly after the viral feud, Brandon Bills filed a civil lawsuit against his niece’s father in February 2022.
At the time, TMZ exclusively reported that Brandon claimed that the fight had caused him both physical injuries and emotional trauma, though the outlet did not specify how much he was seeking.
According to In Touch Weekly, Brandon is seeking $2 million in general damages and $2 million in special damages. It said the fight resulted in “serious injuries, emotional distress, and increased medical expenses.”
Brandon also said that he was having trouble suing DaBaby. According to Radar Online, in April, he sought court approval to publish a notice in a local newspaper to warn the rapper. The outlet mentioned that Bills has been trying to serve DaBaby since July 2023.
What Happened During the 2022 Bowling Alley Fight
For those who remember, video clips of the February 2022 bowling alley brawl showed DaBaby turning his head on Brandon after an argument.
Brandon was knocked unconscious by the punches, and footage captured DaBaby and his crew punching and kicking him on the slick bowling alley. In another clip, someone grabbed Brandon by the hair and knocked him to the floor.
A few days later, DaBaby told photographers that he acted in “self-defence.” The ‘BOP’ rapper firmly said, “You don’t go around threatening people.”
