What We Know About Isabella Strahan’s Initial Diagnosis

In January, Isabella Strahan talked about her medulloblastoma on “Good Morning America.” At the time, sources said medulloblastoma is the “most common” type of cancer in children.

The news came months after doctors said she had a disease in October 2023. Isabella noticed strange things at the beginning of that month. “…Isabella Strahan said that she noticed headaches, nausea, and couldn’t walk straight.

After testing at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, doctors found the root cause of the problem. Back then, doctors told the twin that a tumor was in the back of her brain. Also, they found out that it was 4 centimeters bigger than a golf ball.

She had surgery to remove the lump on October 27. After that, Isabella Strahan relied on her twin sister Sophia and a month of rehab to help her walk again. She also had “many rounds of radiation treatment.” Still, her attitude during that “Good Morning America” interview was upbeat.

“I’m grateful. I am grateful just to walk or see friends or do something, ’cause when you can’t do something, it like, really impacts you,” Isabella Strahan said.
