Nicki Minaj Calls Out Deb Antney About An Interview: Deb Reached Out To Lil Kim’s Team Without Her Permission!

Nicki Minaj took issue with Deb Antney for contacting another rapper’s camp without her permission. The ‘Barb‘ rapper directly confronted Deb, whom she has known since the early days of her career, via X, formerly known as Twitter.

Deb talked to a blogger about contacting Lil Kim, which led to Nicki clearing the air. It appears that Antney had done so without Minaj’s permission, and she was not feeling the false impression it would give.

Antney was asked by the interviewer if she would support Nicki in making amends with Kim. Deb responded after pausing for a moment., “To be perfectly honest with you, she’s gonna kill me for even saying this, but I did reach out to Kim and (shakes head) no.”

Deb was right when she said that Nicki Minaj might not appreciate her revealing behind-the-scenes information. In a detailed social media post, she specifically criticized Deb for sharing details about Lil Kim instead of discussing Nicki’s second round of Gag City tour dates in the U.S.

“I didn’t ask you to do a THING! You told me AFTER THE FACT & I SCREAMED ON YOU & told you if you reach out to ppl now that you’re being seen around me, they will THINK it’s coming FROM ME so to NEVER do that again w/o discussing it without FIRST,” Nicki wrote.

, “I said I’d never want that & that now she’d think that message came from me, which is not cool.” She added. After sharing her Gag City/Pink Friday tour statistics, Nicki Minaj also revealed Deb’s response to a private conversation.

“You laughed it off & said her & Foxy should come out I said no. I’d only want Foxy to come out on stage with me, she’s like family to me. No disrespct. God bless everyone & our children!!!! Let us all do our thing & thank GOD for LIFE. Stop using my name for clickbait in 2024. We get it!!!!!! I’m dat btch!!!”

Nicki & Deb Have Been Seen Out Together Recently

Nicki’s call-out hasn’t prompted a response from the artist’s manager. Before all this, Nicki and her former manager have been seen hanging out, including when the rapper lavished her with praise in February.

“This woman is somebody who, no matter what I went through — every time I called her, I would be crying…and she would be like, girl, that ain’t no big deal, stop!’” Nicki Minaj said on video. “It was great for me to see a woman in the music business have my back. You know? And tell me that there wasn’t nothing wrong with me.”

On previous occasions, Deb Antney has openly discussed behind-the-scenes issues involving Nicki. In December 2022, she sparked uproar online by claiming that Gucci Mane harbored animosity toward Minaj for rebuffing his advances for a sexual relationship.
