Taye Diggs Opens Up That ‘I Don’t Have The Energy’ For Dating After Apryl Jones Breakup + Apryl’s Friend Uncovers ‘She Left The Situation’

Taye Diggs gets candid about his relationship when he discusses his split with Apryl Jones.  The All-American star, 53, admitted to Us Weekly, 

“I have no idea what I’m doing. I really don’t. So now I’m just chilling out.”

He continued, saying he's a little overwhelmed by "there's so much out there," including dating apps and social media.

“I’ll see somebody, and I’ll be like, ‘Oh, I wonder if I should.’”

he went on,

“I don’t have the energy. So I’m hoping that somebody will just magically [appear]. And if not, that’s cool too.”

Apryl Jones, a Hollywood star and entrepreneur, was Taye Diggs' most recent girlfriend. The two parted ways at some point last year after becoming romantically involved for the first time in 2022. They were fairly quiet about their breakup, despite the fact that they frequently shared photos of each other on social media during their romance. Recently, Apryl Jones addressed the breakup on Instagram and stated in a video,

“There are certain gems in the world that know what they want, know who they want to be with, know themselves, and a lot of times that could be intimidating … a lot of times it could be all of the things. It’s not always…y’all be so… my journey and my life…”

George, a friend of April's then weighed in and clarified,

“Ain’t nobody left her. She left the situation.”

Following George's remarks, he and April both let out harsh laughs.
