An Eye Witness Shares A Report Of The Incident
The incident took place at around 11:11 a.m. on July 21. The source revealed that David Rodriquez initially mistook the echoes of gunfire for fireworks. He saw customers quickly running from the area after that. The gunfire was so intense that some individuals hid in a store cooler. Roderick Rogers, a member of the City Council, was on the phone with a person at the grocery store during the ordeal. The man said, “It was bad.” The shooter was injured after a shootout between the police and the ‘lone suspect. The man said the people who survived are traumatized, and they’re getting counseling and everything set up right now.
Hagar reassured residents that there are no longer any “active threats to the neighborhood.”
Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders took to Twitter to let her followers know that she was briefed on the tragedy and was in constant communication with police at the scene. She thanked law enforcement and first responders for their quick and heroic action to save lives.
Authorities later confirmed that 11 people were injured in the incident.
