50 Cent True Crime Show: Everything You Need to Know

Curtis “50 CentJackson is expanding his entertainment empire beyond music and scripted television with the launch of “50 Ways to Catch a Killer,” a six-part true crime series streaming exclusively on Fox Nation. The show premiered on September 16, 2025, with two new episodes releasing weekly through the end of September.

What Is “50 Ways to Catch a Killer” About?

The series offers viewers a deep journey inside investigative units as they unravel real-life murder mysteries and uncover critical breakthroughs leading to the prime suspect and pursuit of justice. Each episode spotlights a different homicide case and the investigation that brought the killer to justice.

“True crime is powerful because it’s real cases, real people, and real justice,” 50 Cent said in a statement. “With this series, I want viewers to experience the intensity of these investigations and the relentless work it takes to uncover the truth”.

50 Cent personally hand-picks and narrates each case featured in the series. The six episodes cover:

  1. “Fake ‘Em Out” – The 2017 murder of Laura Wallen, a 31-year-old pregnant high school teacher from Olney, Maryland, who went missing on the first day of school. Detectives used an unorthodox strategy to solve the case.
  2. “Untangle the Lies” – The disappearance of hairstylist Joleen Cummings, who vanished from Tangles Hair Salon just before Mother’s Day.
  3. “Step Back” – The case of Connie Dabate, a Connecticut wife and mother found shot dead in her home, where detectives used digital evidence to reveal a calculated murder.
  4. “Pregnant Pause” – The killing of Jocelyn Peters, a pregnant teacher whose murder uncovered devastating secrets.
  5. “Science Saves the Day” – A brutal California case where five members of the Harper family, including three children, were murdered in Bakersfield, and investigators used entomology to catch the killer.
  6. “Never Give Up” – The case of Mike Williams, who disappeared during a solo duck hunt on Florida’s Lake Seminole. Initially thought to be an alligator attack, the investigation later uncovered a chilling tale of greed, betrayal, and murder.

50 Cent’s Production Company Behind the Series

The production was made with 50 Cent’s G-Unit Film & Television company in partnership with Lionsgate Alternative Television. Jackson has established himself as a leading force in television, having created Lionsgate’s record-breaking hit “Power” and its spinoffs on STARZ, and produced acclaimed series including “Black Mafia Family” and “For Life”.
