Keke Palmer recently separated from the father of her child Darius Jackson with claims of abuse. The former couple met at a party in 2021 while dating on and off they eventually had a baby boy Leodis Jackson in February 2023 and called it quits in October of that same year. Keke filed a restraining order against her former boyfriend in November with claims of him physically and emotionally abusing her according to documents that were viewed by an insider.
The split seemed to spark after Keke Palmer’s outfit. Darius lambasted the outfit as a poor and gross choice of wardrobe to the public. He then chastised her making her feel unworthy. It was in July Darius shocked the media with his distasteful tweets and then deleted them. Darius Jackson is the brother of actor Sarunas Jackson who played in the show ‘Insecure’ as Alejandro ‘Dro’ Peña on nine episodes of the HBO show from 2017 to 2021.
And how did they meet? So many were wondering that as well. Keke met Darius “casually” at an after-party for ‘Insecure’ in 2021 right after he had a cameo on the Issa Rae series. It seemed to have gotten heavy pretty fast considering Keke wasn’t always in the spotlight with public relations but this one she seemed to take to the head!
“I walked up to him. My best friend was like, ‘You should just say something to him. You should ask if he wants a drink,'” Keke stated in June of 2023 appearing on “The Terrell Show.” “When I walked up to him, I was not looking for love,” Palmer stated. “I was looking for a roster, you understand? And so I was like, ‘He fits the physical bill.’ But when I talked to him… he was such a sweetheart. I think what I saw was he’s just a sweet guy.”
Keke went on telling the start of her ‘love story’ and was not expecting to fall in love with this ‘Romeo’ but things turned for the worse in 2022 when the two split. Now Keke is on Instagram taking photos with Marlon Wayans who appeared in shows back in the 90’s ‘The Wayans Bros’, and also ‘In Living Color’. The actor also appeared in the infamous movies ‘White Chicks’ and ‘Scary Movie 2′. Keke posted a caption with the photo of her and Wayans “Maturity is knowing Marlon Wayans is and always was the finest Wayans. Love ’em’ all tho!” A lot of people are now saying Keke Palmer was the problem in the relationship with her former boyfriend Darius Jackson and are now looking at her as the problematic one.
