Some social media users think that Megan Thee Stallion has rekindled her rap beef with Nicki Minaj on her new album.
Here’s why social media thinks Megan Thee Stallion slammed Nicki Minaj.
The latest album from Megan Thee Stallion was released on June 28th.
HipHopDX reports that the 18-track album is reportedly “laced with several shots” at Minaj. The second track on Meg’s new album, ‘Rattle,’ features new bars allegedly aimed at Minaj.
According to reports, Meg raps on the track.
“Ain’t got no tea on me, this h* think she TMZ”
HipHopDX continued with that Megan also rapped:
“I wanted everybody right here with me/ But that was my fault, bein’ too friendly/ I was thinkin’ everything was all good/ But the whole time, you was my enemy… Damn, b***h, it been four years/ Worry ’bout your man and your kid/ Your life must be borin’ as f**k if you still reminiscin’ ’bout s**t that we did.”
Meg’s lyrics appear to reference a 2020 song she was featured on, according to the outlet. The rapper apparently took a shot at Minaj for bringing out fellow female rappers during her ‘Pink Friday 2’ tour stop in Boston in April, according to HipHopDX.
“And I ain’t worried ’bout the bitter-b***h link-up/ Y’all h**s earned them seats in the fan club,” Meg reportedly rapped.
Minaj brought out JT, BIA, Katie Got Banz, Malibu Mitch, and Akbar at the time.
The third track on the album, ‘Figueroa,’ shows Meg’s alleged disses toward Minaj.
“I’m a motherf*****g brat, not a Barbie/ On go with any b***h that wanna start it,” she raps.
Noting, Minaj famously refers to her fan base as the ‘Barbz,’ per Fandom.
As previously reported, in January, the pair went viral after Megan released ‘HISS,’ and seemingly took aim at fellow female rappers for wanting to sound like her.
Soon afterward, Minaj took to Instagram Live to preview a song called ‘Big Foot. On the track, Minaj rapped about a rapper who won three Grammys but couldn’t find a beat. It was confirmed that Meg had previously been nominated for six Grammy awards and had won three of them.
Minaj also mentioned a person who is now using their “good foot.” Megan Thee Stallion was allegedly struck by bullet fragments in her foot by a gun fired by Tory Lanez in 2020.
The apparent exchange ended with Minaj formally releasing the track.
