Cardi B addressed rumors about her father being arrested on rape charges and fans think she threw major shade at Nicki Minaj in the process. The Bronx rapper went off on Twitter denying the allegations and getting real specific with her clap backs.
Cardi said her immigrant father from the Dominican Republic would've been deported if he committed such a disgusting crime. She then said "There's real cases that involve" before listing family members which had the Barbz flooding her comments.
Many believe Cardi was referencing Nicki's brother who's serving 25 years for child rape and her husband Kenneth Petty who's a registered sex offender from a 1995 conviction. Cardi didn't name Nicki directly but the implication was crystal clear.
Nicki Minaj is currently on social media hiatus after backlash from her perceived MAGA support so she hasn't responded. The timing couldn't be more interesting with Nicki laying low while Cardi's making these pointed statements.
Their beef never really ended it just goes quiet then explodes again every few months. This latest round feels different though with Cardi going for family instead of music or numbers.
The shade was subtle but everybody caught it loud and clear.
