Drama Unfolds Between Former Friends

In the latest social media firestorm, rapper Cleotrapa has attempted to expose her former friend and rising star Ice Spice over alleged behind-the-scenes drama surrounding a recent tour. The former friends, who once seemed inseparable, are now embroiled in a public feud that has fans choosing sides and speculating about what led to their falling out.

The Allegations: Cleotrapa’s Side of the Story

In a series of now-deleted posts, Cleotrapa claimed that Ice Spice had been ungrateful and dismissive during the planning stages of their rumored joint tour. According to Cleotrapa, the drama started when Ice Spice allegedly sidelined her from major decisions and failed to acknowledge the support she had shown her throughout their friendship. Cleotrapa hinted that she had been instrumental in helping Ice Spice‘s early career but felt abandoned once the fame hit.

One of her posts read: “People show their true colors when the spotlight hits. I was there from day one, but now I guess I don’t matter.”

Ice Spice Fires Back

Not one to let the accusations go unanswered, Ice Spice quickly responded, taking to her own social media to address the situation. In a calm but pointed message, she denied Cleotrapa‘s claims, stating that their friendship had ended for personal reasons long before the tour talks even began. She expressed disappointment in how the situation was being handled publicly, writing: “It’s sad when people air out private matters for clout. I’ve always kept it real with everyone in my circle.”

Fans Take Sides

As the drama continues to unfold, fans of both artists have taken to social media to voice their opinions. Some fans are rallying behind Cleotrapa, claiming that she has a right to air her grievances and demand recognition for her contributions. Others, however, are siding with Ice Spice, praising her professionalism and composure in the face of the allegations.

The Tour’s Future in Question

While the rumors of a joint tour between Cleotrapa and Ice Spice are still unconfirmed, it seems unlikely that the two will be sharing a stage anytime soon. The fallout between the once-close friends has left a cloud of uncertainty over their future collaborations, if any.

What’s Next for Cleotrapa and Ice Spice?

As the feud gains traction, many are wondering what’s next for both artists. Will they continue to engage in a public back-and-forth, or will they find a way to resolve their differences privately? For now, it appears that the friendship between Cleotrapa and Ice Spice may be beyond repair, leaving fans to watch from the sidelines as the drama unfolds.

A New Rivalry in the Making?

With both artists rising in the hip-hop world, this feud could mark the beginning of a new rivalry in the music scene. While Ice Spice has continued to climb the charts, Cleotrapa’s attempts to expose her could serve as a catalyst for even more drama in the future. Whether this feud fizzles out or becomes a long-standing beef remains to be seen, but one thing is certain—everyone’s watching.

Ice Spice and Cleotrapa Feud Heats Up

Less than a month after the Central C and Madeline Argy drama, Ice Spice has been embroiled in another controversy, this time involving fellow New York rapper Cleotrapa.

Cleotrapa, who appeared in the “In Ha Mood” music video, is known to be Ice Spice’s friend and even spoke openly with her during the US leg of her Y2K! Tour. Recently, Cleotrapa shared her side of the story on TikTok, explaining how Ice Spice treated her during the tour and why their friendship ended. Ice Spice has since responded, giving her perspective on the situation.

Cleotrapa’s allegations

The Bronx rapper recently wrapped up the North American leg of her ‘Y2K!’ World Tour. On Monday (August 2), Cleotrapa posted a five-part TikTok series claiming she endured “30 days of hell” on tour because of Ice Spice and his team.

Cleo said Ice invited her to open for the tour without any pay, a shared room, and the promise of care. Instead, she said Ice’s security ignored her, she had to carry her own bags, and she missed out on Ice’s perks. When Cleo expressed her concerns, she said, “Everything was weird after that.” She also claimed she had to get ready in the bathroom, wasn’t included in the production budget, and even had to pay for her own chicken salad.

Cleo suggested Ice join the tour to improve her public image after rising artist Baby Storm accused Ice of being a ‘fake’ in April.

Ice Spice Responds

After the video garnered attention, Ice Spice took to X/Twitter Spaces to make her case.

“It’s sad to crash, you guys,” she said. “The hardest part of fame is when someone feels like they can’t use your platform or get exactly what they want. That’s when people decide to crash. I’m seeing a pattern here.”

She added, “You complaining about chicken salad? You never mentioned it to me! You have less than 10,000 listeners, and I’m sharing my stage with you. You think my team should work for you too? That’s crazy.”

Cleo responded by tweeting, “It’s not a hate train when you’re running it.” Ice Spice also noted that they had fun together on tour, including a visit to an amusement park, and accused Cleo of missing out on the positive moments.

“I added another tour bus so Cleo could join and perform her songs. I was trying to be a good person, and this is what I get in return,” Ice said.
