Atlanta rapper Gunna is making waves beyond the music world first with an exclusive private screening and now with a major fitness partnership.
Private Screening of Highest 2 Lowest
Recently, Gunna hosted a private screening in Los Angeles for his highly anticipated documentary, Highest 2 Lowest. The event brought together cast members, close friends, and select fans to preview the film, which chronicles the highs and lows of his life and career. Guests were treated to an intimate look into Gunna’s journey in the music industry, celebrating his growth, resilience, and artistry.
Stepping Into Fitness with Under Armour
Not stopping there, Gunna is now collaborating with Under Armour for their latest “We Are Football” campaign. The campaign celebrates athletes, rising stars, and cultural icons, bridging music, sports, and fashion. Gunna’s involvement highlights his commitment to health and fitness, showcasing a fit and energized side of the rapper that fans haven’t seen before.

Gunna’s private screening and fitness campaign show a multi-dimensional approach to his career—balancing artistic storytelling with personal wellness and brand collaborations. Adidas, Under Armour and Nike Comparison
All three brands represent their own strengths, and I have equal respect for each brand. What I am sharing here comes from my own personal experience, with no intention of putting down any company.
If you are a serious athlete or train hard on a regular basis, I would recommend Adidas. Their footwear stands out for its durability and long-lasting performance. Under Armour also deserves recognition. The brand focuses on innovation, blending strong quality with stylish designs. In my opinion, Under Armour has yet to receive the level of fame it deserves, mainly because most people in our country are very much inclined towards Nike, Adidas or Puma.
When it comes to making a statement, Nike definitely has the edge. Many people choose Nike for its style factor, whether they openly admit it or not. The brand delivers some of the most fashionable designs with reliable quality. If you don’t overspend on your shoes, Nike could easily be your go-to.

Market Trends, Growth, and My Pick
A lot has changed in the past year. Both Adidas and Under Armour have seen impressive growth, although Under Armour’s rise seems more dramatic due to its shorter history. However, when you look at recent trends, Adidas seems to have taken the lead.
Take the 2016 NBA Finals for example: Despite Steph Curry’s record-breaking season with UA, his playoff struggles and LeBron’s loss to the Cavs put Nike in the spotlight. Nike’s athletes, LeBron and Kyrie, increased the brand’s dominance while UA cooled off a bit.
Meanwhile, Adidas moved ahead with its Boost technology. Models like the Ultra Boost and NMD created a global buzz for their comfort and unique designs, while collaborations and the Yeezy line sent the hype skyrocketing. Classics like the Stan Smiths and Superstars also made a strong comeback, solidifying Adidas’ presence in casual footwear – a space that UA has yet to match.
However, Under Armour still holds a special place for me. They continue to make reliable products in footwear, sports equipment and gear. In my experience, their shoes are more comfortable than both Adidas and Nike. With their variety, quality and comfort, Under Armour is my personal favorite brand, even though the competition is getting tougher.
Gunna Expands Reach with Fashion Partnerships and Community Efforts
Atlanta native Gunna continues to branch out into new areas of culture, fashion and social impact beyond music. After garnering attention with his documentary and fitness collaborations, the rapper is now adding more projects to his expanding portfolio.
Style and Music Come Together in Exclusive Collection
Gunna has partnered with a high-end streetwear brand to release a limited-edition capsule collection. The series features bold pieces that reflect his unique style, which blends high-end fashion with everyday wear. Fans and industry insiders praised the collection for its creativity and adaptability, proving Gunna’s role as a tastemaker not only in music but also in fashion. The launch event brought together celebrities, designers and cultural influencers, emphasizing the strong bond between hip-hop and style.
Investing in his community
In addition to fashion and creative projects, Gunna continues to give back to Atlanta. Through his foundation, he recently hosted a back-to-school drive, encouraging students to start the school year with supplies, sneakers, and confidence. Parents and community leaders have recognized the positive impact of his efforts, applauding his dedication to supporting the neighborhoods that shaped him.
Working in the fields of film, fitness, style, and philanthropy, Gunna continues to grow as both an artist and a cultural leader. His influence extends beyond music, thanks to his ability to combine creativity with purpose.
Nike’s Complete Story and Business Strategy
Nike is one of the most recognizable and influential brands in the world today. Every day, more people wear sneakers with the Swoosh logo than any other footwear company in the world — by a wide margin.
If you’ve read Shoe Dog or watched Air, you might think you already know the Nike story. But Shoe Dog ends in 1980, and Air… well, let’s just say it’s a fun Hollywood fantasy. The truth, as always, has many more twists, high-stakes moments, and business lessons than either version.
We’ve been wanting to dive into Nike’s journey for a while, and thanks to our LPs’ votes, now’s the perfect time. So lace up your Air Jordans, Dunks, VaporFlies, or Air Maxes (and yes, Monarchs count, too), go for a run or a walk, and enjoy this deep dive.
Clarifications and Updates
Phil Knight majored in business at Oregon, not journalism. It’s hard to blame himself too much for this mistake, since one of our main research books also had it wrong.
Carolyn Davidson’s 500 shares didn’t come in the IPO — she got them in 1983. That means Nike’s stock has split 6 times, not 7.
Most of us (yes, including Americans like us) mispronounce “Onitsuka.” Now you’ll know how to say it correctly.
Michael Jordan earned royalties on every shoe in the Nike Air line, not just the basketball version.
And Uber’s “step on someone’s toes” philosophy was never meant to be over the top. It refers to encouraging employees to “step on someone’s toes” when needed to innovate the company.
