According to multiple reports, the Spider-Man star halted filming for Spider-Man: Brand New Day after suffering an injury during a stunt on September 19th.
Sources stated that Tom suffered a minor injury on set in Glasgow, Scotland, and decided to rest for a few days as a precaution. Reports also stated that he plans to return to filming soon.
E! News contacted Tom’s representatives for comment but has not yet received a response.
Although Tom, 29, has been away from the city for some time, he appeared cheerful while attending a charity event for his family foundation, The Brothers Trust, in London on September 20th.
Despite this Marvel filming disaster—which is scheduled for release on July 31, 2026—Tom has repeatedly expressed his excitement about the film, especially after the previous installment’s limited production due to the pandemic.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day – Sony’s Major Release
Sony has placed Spider-Man: Brand New Day at the top of its list of upcoming films. The previous film, 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, remains the studio’s biggest box office hit to date, grossing $1.91 billion worldwide. “It’s day one. This is my fourth day back as Spider-Man. The accident occurred on Friday, when Tom went to the hospital as a safety precaution. Doctors treated him and discharged him the same day, giving him time to rest before returning to work.
