Further information regarding Blueface’s possible release from jail has reportedly been provided by a deputy district attorney in Los Angeles.

This Is What Blueface’s Deputy District Attorney Told About Him

Tatiana Chahoian, the deputy district attorney for Los Angeles, reportedly gave XXL an exclusive statement for a story that was released on Tuesday, July 16. DA Chahoian clarified that even though Blue has a July 29 court date, he might not be released that quickly.

Note that Blueface was originally scheduled to be released from jail on July 2, according to a previous report from TMZ.

“Long story short — Blueface’s release date has not been determined as of yet,” DA Chahoian reportedly told the outlet. “He has a court date for sentencing on the probation violation on July 29, 2024, and on that date, the judge will determine how much time, if any, he will be serving.”

This Is The Reason Blueface Is In Prison

As was previously mentioned, on January 12, Blueface turned himself in to police in Los Angeles. The rapper was accused of breaking his probation at the time.

Later, according to TMZ, Blue broke “one or more of the terms of his probation” related to an assault case that started in Los Angeles in September 2021. The publication did not, however, state clearly what Blueface had done to break his probation.

But as if that weren’t enough to cast doubt on the rapper’s freedom, Blue would soon face more legal issues. The Daily Mail revealed on February 1st that the rapper was the subject of an arrest warrant issued by a Las Vegas judge. According to reports, Blue also broke his probation in connection with a shooting case from 2022, which is why the warrant was issued. After being freed from Los Angeles, Blueface was allegedly told by the judge to turn himself in to Las Vegas police.

The rapper would turn himself in to Las Vegas police after being released from Los Angeles, according to reports made at the time by his Las Vegas lawyer, Kristina Wildeveld.

The Rapper’s Family Still Stands Optimistic For His Return

DA Chahoian’s recent remarks regarding Blueface’s potential non-release from jail on July 29 may be explained by his probation violation in connection with his Las Vegas case. Blueface’s family seems to be holding out hope for his return despite this.

As The Talk Lounge previously reported, Johnathan Porter, Blueface’s father, posted a video to Instagram last week. In the video, Porter asked followers to offer prayers for both him and Chrisean Rock, his youngest son’s mother.

“…Sitting over here hoping and praying that they release my son in the next 20 days for time served. So, for all you Blueface fans, please keep him in your prayers,” Porter said. “Also praying that Chrisean gets released the same day that he does. So that everybody can have a new start.”

As previously reported by The Talk Lounge, on June 10, Rock was taken into custody after showing up to a Los Angeles courtroom in support of Blueface. She was reportedly being held on a felony fugitive warrant at the time. The warrant was obtained about an Oklahoma drug possession case from 2022.

The Talk Lounge exclusively learned following The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department that Rock was being held without bond on a misdemeanor assault charge related to a city-filed case that Further information about the assault case was not provided by the LAPD. But according to sources James Wright Chanel charged the rapper with assault in California in February.

At the time, it was also revealed that after being released from the Los Angeles jail, Rock would be extradited to Oklahoma to face prosecution for her initial case and charges there.

Rock’s Los Angeles booking record as of Wednesday, July 17 seems to indicate that she is still being held without a stated date for release or extradition. Meanwhile, her case has not yet been assigned to a judge in Oklahoma, according to court records. In addition, the case file contains no listing for attorneys.
